This weather-resistant smart dimmer is designed exclusively for dimmable lights, allowing you to remotely adjust the brightness of your outdoor dimmable lights using the Kasa app or voice commands via Alexa or Google Assistant for hands-free control. [Lights must be dimmable in order to use dimmer function. 4 Amp maximum]
The IP64 rating ensures your plug will be protected against dust intrusion and splashes of water. However, it's recommended to place the plug at least 8 inches from the ground to avoid rainwater back splashing into the socket, and to cover the socket with the weatherproof cover when not in use.
Featuring a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection, the TP-Link based Kasa Smart plug delivers more stable connectivity with a longer coverage range of up to 300ft.
